Carbs really are the things that do the damage, especially trying to lose weight and if you don't do loads of exercise, when you need them.<br>As everyone is an individual you need to find which carbs do the damage for you.<br>For me it is pasta and bread and I have to go very easy on fruit... <br> a handful of nuts or carrots or olives. I just need to retrain my thinking. I have gotten off track in the last 5 years and the weight has crept up on me. I did some analysis and if I do 30-45 minutes of cardio 6 days a week and cut out 250 calories a day, in a year (theoretically) I will reach my goal weight. Doable, don't you think? Of course, I want to get to my goal weight sooner than that! I definately have some craving and blood sugar issues, so like you, fruit and simple carbs are a challenge for me. My new mantra is, "Is the choice I am about to make going to make me happier in the long run or just happier for the moment and which do I prefer?" Good luck to you, too!
