I dont think that this can be healthy... To be healthy you should loose about 1-2 pounds a week if its more it really is not healthy

So the last time I really did this was in JUNE. In JUNE. It's time to start again ;) I've been back to Germany for nearly half a year now (I've been in Dallas for 6 month). When I came back I had gained 25 (!!!) pounds. So by now I have lost 17 pounds, these pounds just melted off, I didn't really have to do anything but eat what my parents gave me to eat. But now the last 8 pounds just won't come off!
I have to admit if you look at what I ate you wouldn't think that I gained that much. Well.. thats because I wasn't always honest... Now I'll try to be! ;)

Sorry for spamming this forum. I just wanted to add that I don't keep my diary properly because it really takes me down to see what I ate over the day so I usually stop around 4ish because I get really sad and disappointed of myself. I'm 5'6" and I weight 167 pounds. I want to be back at at least 140, my goal is 135. I was 140 before I came to the US half a year ago and I wanted to lose some weight. Then I gaind 27 pounds.

FOr some reason its just not possible for me to stay away from the fridge. I'm constantly going there, eating something. And it's like 100° outside so its also hard to convince myself of some exercise... Its not even that I'm enjoying food so much, its just that it is like an addiction. Something is kind of DRAGGING me in the kitchen. I know that I'm not addicted to food, I'm not fat enough for that and I don't eat THAT much, but I just can't stay away, although I want to!!! Any tricks how I can resist my cravings?

@schitzwa the problem is: oce I started eating bread I can't stop and I'm eating 4-5 slices, normally with peanutbutter.

I know the tricks who to loose weight, I am exercising and trying to eat vegetables in stead of bread. But I'm TRYING, it doesn't work. Its just too tempting... I'm frustrated. No motivation anymore. =(

Try it with baby carrots,cucumber or drink a tea/coffe: it keeps your mouth and stomach busy. A good trick NOT to eat more is brushing your teeth: with the peppermint taste in your mouth you are less tempted to eat something ( did you ever drink orange juice after brushing your teeth? :D)

How many calories a day are normal? How many caories should I eat if I want to loose weight? It's 12:45 and I already ate over 800 calories!!!! It sounds a lot to me!

Hey everybody! I'm an exchange student from Germany and at the moment in Dallas, TX. I have a fructose malabsorbtion,similar to a lactose intolerance, I'm not able to digest fructose. Normal sugar consists of Glucose and Fructose. So I can't have anything with sugar. Even if there are sugarfree products, I have issues because lots of the sweeteners are made from sugar or, what is worse, from fructose. If I eat any fructose I get a stomachache, a blowded stomach and issues to breath. Glucose is the same as dextrose, the only difference is the molucular structure. I am looking for dextrose because it is the only sweetener I am sure I can have. Does anyone know a place I could by PURE dextrose?
