THANK you very much for your wonderfully supporting words, I am really hanging, trying to stick to my diet and to avoid temptation. If it wasn't for you I'd have given up. I'm reading all comments you've posted and I've even picked up some tips I'm using. My weight is going down soooo sloooowwly ( i lost 5oo grms last week) but going down anyway. So I guess I'm learning my lesson: be patient and do things well, there's no magic to being slimmer and healthier, just eat sensibly at least 6 times a day and drink lots of water. I'm still looking forward to my desired goal: losing 10kg. But I'm very happy to have found you, I feel this time I'm on the right track, thanks a lot.

@Totoro Congratulations to you! I wish i had your willpower, I try but sometimes i just give in to temptations like chocolate, frozen beer, a good red wine, "asado", bread, etc. I enjoy them too much to give them up so I won't ban them from my diet. I think I can still be healthy and lose weight having those in small quantities and less often than i used to. What do you think?

I think 600 cal is too little. Maybe you should be realistic n start reducing your cal intake a little every day. Also do not forget to burn some of those by doing sth. I'm eating between 1000 to 1300 cal a day plus going jogging on a daily basis and I think I'm doing fine.

Thanks a lot!! I will... maybe it's just a matter of keeping the diet, exercising and being patient. The latter is the most difficult part for me. Once again, thank you for your wise advice.

Yesterday I couldn't help eating up chocolate ice-cream while watching a movie. I've been dieting for two weeks now and thought I was on the right track. But when I faced the scales I didn't like what I saw, I've only lost two kilos! That makes me feel like giving up... Everybody is either fattish or fat in my family, should I accept that too?

Aww don't give up! It's only been two week! 14 days. Are you exercising? That will speed up your results. Just be careful, don't under-eat your calories or your body will store the energy as fat, right?

Hang in there!

@Totoro that is why I try to avoid the scale as much as possible, It discourages us when we dont see the results we had hoped for. Dont give up. Make healthy choices. Another thing i do is I dont have the junk in the house...I have low fat icecream bars versus the real ice cream for instance...if its not in the house I cannot be tempted. good luck to you...you can do this

2 kilos is still brilliant so well done!
Dont criticise yourself when you have still lost weight. Keep on track and hopefully you will keep on losing weight, remember we all fall off track ocasionally, give yourself some credit :)
@Pato i had the same feeling a few days ago when i ended up losing control and eating loads of chocolate, what i'd say to do is to allow yourself the food you crave when your craving it, but in a very small quantity, your craving will be satisfied and you wont end up losing control and eating loads. this is what i do and it usually works.

Hello everyone! I've just started using TWYE today. I hope it can help reduce my anxiety towards work, studies, and last but not least mum-wife worries. I've always had trouble keeping a balanced size-weight and I tend to give in to my cravings for food when I'm anxious. Thanks 4 sharing your experiences. Wish us the best!
