Snacking in the evening is my downfall! I can't even exercise to compensate for eating so much chocolate because I have knee injury! I should know better!

@Rah_bertaz
Hi, this happened to me a while ago. I still posted to my diary via twitter and could access my diary on my phone but not my laptop. I only lasted a few days then either someone fixed it or it fixed itself lol! Try not to get too anxious, try writing down what you eat on paper then transferring it when your diary is fixed. Hugs xx

@alexressi Hey aressidi, yep it is when I log in. It brings up the error message but then says I'm logged in on the top right corner of the page and lets me on the forum but I still can't view the diary. I have tried cutting and pasting the link but that doesn't work and I have tried it on two different computers. Your help is appreciated =]

It just says: 'We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly.'

Is anyone else having this problem? I really hope it gets fixed soon!

Hey :-)

Quorn is a great meat substitute. They have basic ingredients like chunks and mince to use as base for cooking, also ready meals and sandwich slices etc. They are no good for vegans though as milk and egg are used to bind the proteins together to give it meat like texture. I've just had homemade Quorn chilli for tea....yum, yum, yum!

I agree with NightShiftNurse and KKitten01. I have taken MANY different diet pills in my time to try and find a quick fix.....they don't work! As soon as you stop taking them you put the weight back on, they mess with your metabolism and your body. I stopped taking the pills years ago but still have lasting side effects....I never feel hungry or full anymore, just sick all the time!

I think if you limit yourself too much you may find you binge more as you will constantly be hungry and denying yourself things.

Also if you eat less than 1200 cals per day your body will go into starvation mode and start clinging on to the fat you have and start burning muscle to fuel itself instead. This means that your metabolic rate will slow down.

You're best sticking to around 1200 cals per day with a little bit of what you fancy to help stop you from binge eating.

Also if you exercise and increase muscle mass you will find you burn more calories even at rest as your metabolic rate will increase. Hope this helps, good luck xx

Hi! I have added you too...it's really becoming 'the more the merrier'! It's great to have people with similar goals to chat to and knowing someone is checking up on me is really helping! Good luck xx

Sometimes when I add someone as a TYWE friend it just comes up with '/diary/' and the link doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? xx

Can I also buddy! I'm the same as spwaqk....I deleted my diary yesterday for about the hundredth time! I need some motivation and knowing people are checking my diary might just work! My calorie aim is about 1500 (with about an hours exercise per day). I have added you as friends....good luck =] xx

I get a couple of good days under my belt then relapse, eat loads of rubbish, delete my diary and start again! I really need to stick to this!

I have days like this. I find it helps to write down why I'm eating as well as what I'm eating...this way I can identify which emotions make me turn to the biscuit tin (usually boredom!). Then you should be able to find another way to address them....I'm going to join the library this week so I can put a book in my hands instead of a biscuit! Hope this helps x

Cardio will increase muscle density as will any frequent movement, and as muscle weighs four times more than fat you may notice little difference in weight if you are toning up as you go. It may be a good idea to take your measurements and assess you achievements in inches rather than pounds. Hope this helps x

I need will power too! I have added you as a friend so we can tell each other off for naughty food! I'm the same except it's not stress that sets me off, it's the weekend! I do really well all week and then undo it all with sweets and rum at the weekend!

@Dana92484 Well done for losing 65 pounds! That's amazing! I have started fresh today. I don't really set myself a calorie allowance, I just try to eat only when I'm hungry and pick healthy foods. I am hoping for a career change and would love to be a dietitian, I am currently reading lots on the subject of healthy eating which I find helps keep me motivated.

@Dana92484

I'm not doing too well with the healthy eating at the moment. I only started on Friday and weekends are my downfall. I am hoping to try harder tomorrow and be healthier and more accurate with my calories. Have you lost much so far?
