I have not tried the candi, sounds good. the diet soda I do have once in wile, but I have to have it early, before 3 or else I end up too wired to sleep, yesterday I crashed after supper so it was to late to resort to soda, after my post I felt calmer and ended up being ok. My husband put the nutella away so it would not be in my face....I never asked him too, but this morning my daugter was looking for it so he told me he had just put it in a place were it would just not be so visible and tempting to me. I thought that was really supportive of him. I had told him that I was concerned because I had bought it but had not told him about the craving last night....anyway things are better today

hope things are going well for you too

I am looking for a sugar wip, I am sure a lot of you can relate. I had a bad night, worked hard at work. I am just plain tired, physically and emotinally. I feel totally empty and I want energy. Sugar is screaming at me. To make things worst I bought some nutella (daughter asked for it) and this is a high risk food for me. I can just scoop it out of the jar with a spoon. I had a teaspoon and now I want more. I figure too I should have eaten more today altogether but I was being cautious because I know I am tired. My daughter need attention from me....so I have to go....will try to snuggle with her and take it easly. I will drink water that might help the energy and I will try some light exercise that might help.

I hope for you it will as for "just for yourself" you might be wrong there...I read the posts everyday. I find must inspiration here and a place to express myself and share also. this has been all good for me as for the food journal the fact that it is posted helps me think twice when eating ...funny cause it should not but it does.

if you are traveling, I often bring a rubber band (the kid used for pilates) and I have printed a few workouts that can be done with those, I also like to use exercise dvd's, I have lots of fun ones for example belly dance, but for a good workout I like the south beach diet one- hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for

that's great, do you reward yourself, I do but I try not to make a great deal of it, but still it's fun to look at what is accomplished, happy journey to your milestone

things are still going well for me, \i am working out an average of 30 min a day and tweetingwhatieat every day. my cal count is well in the range that want and the weight is comming off slowly but surely. I have now lost a total of 17 pounds. a coleage of mine noticed today and commented, but I must admit I felt more self counscious than flattered. Still I am proud of my progress and my work, I am mostly proud of being able to jog 10 minutes consecutively. Milestone number two is 2 pounds away! I will keep you posted and to all of you good luck and keep it up!

good to know, things are getting back on track, I have been able to go med free for 2 days now and I am exercising but with caution, I have avoided jogging and the eliptical machine because my back gets sensitive, but I have been walking and doing some weights

for me there are several keys, the first one being since I have reduced and controles sugar most of my cravings are gone, but if I have emotional turmoil I will occasionally use homeopatic drops or yoga both help a lot against emotional eating. Finally I keep 100 to 200 calories for my evening snack, but also make sure that I am not too hungry throughout the day...because if I am for sure evening cravings will be a little bit more of a concern. Sometimes no sugar drinks (no fizz) with some fibre supplement can also help, good luck!

hi everyone,

welcome to the newcommer, it appears I don't know quite how I have injured my back, yesterday and today I decided not to workout fearing making it worst. I guess I will also by the look of it take it easy tomorrow. I hope this is not going to be too long because exercise it my ticket to sanity and has been helping a lot with the weight loss. things are still buzy crazy, but since some deadlines are arround the corner, it think things will ineavitably slow down by next week.

@dajero1 I only post from the net my tel does not have internet features on it and yes I do check the completed day check but I did not realise it was without a break, as for "diet" more than a month, I think it realy depends on what type of diet you are on, I have tried sooo many I have stoped trying and right now I will only implement changes to my lifestyle when I hit a serious plateau so if diet means stiking to 2000 cal, trying to average 30 min of exercise a day and limiting sugar to 21 tsp a week then Monsterpary I have been "dieting since the end of october..... and succeding and feeling good about it

@Monsterpary
I don't know how the completed days calculate themselfs but in my situation it is not accurate. In november I completed 27 days in dec 20 in january I am pretty sure I completed at least 28 and in feb 15.....so it is not showing my actual count, pehaps it is the same with you...so don't get down on yourself for that. the only time I don't post my food is when I don't have access to a computer that day. I still do a food journal but get it initialized by a family member.

thanks for the sound advice, yes fruits and veggies are a good part of what I eat daily and water well I could drink more but I do drink according to thurst. I sleep well too, the yoga last night helped me alot. I just need to accept that this is all going to take time.
