Hey, I did the same as you: I was always hungry when I was bored... but now I always drink A LOT OF WATER, so then I am not hungry anymore. I also go outside because I don't want to see food which is everywhere in Mum's kitchen... I wish you good luck!!!
yours Criss

you can also try to eat as much vegetables as you can when you are hungry! i always eat green salad before dinner, so i`m not that hungry when it comes to the high-calorie-diet!

If you are always hungry, there has to be a reason...either you are not eating enough and need to add some calories, or you are eating the wrong kinds of foods. Many processed foods, like cereal, crackers and breads can actually MAKE you hungry within like an hour...at least that is what I find for me. The healthier versions not so much, but the kind our kids like for example; my dad used to tell me that food manufacturers added stuff to their foods to make you eat more. I never believed him totally, but I was convinced one day when I had a craving for my kids' cereal (Froot Loops), had a BIG bowl and within an hour was starving! Just a thought. So try to eat more foods natural, even if they are higher calories, like walnuts and see what that does for your hunger pangs.

And when it comes to snacking, have premade healthy snacks available, cut veggies and even fruits and snack on those. Even though fruits are higher calorie, they often satisfy any cravings...takes about a week or so and then you'll notice they decrease. If its boredom, you have to identify that, and when you catch yourself going for a snack cuz you're bored, think - what would be fun to do right now? And then go do it. :) Takes your mind off of eating!

And yes, for me, water always helps too! I try to drink a glass before and after each meal and a big 24 oz cup between meals. Anyways...good luck!
