I have the same problem...I do best if I can go do my gym workout or ride my bike or go for a walk in the evening..I have to get myself away from the temptations. That or just not keep a lot of junk food in the house..the weekends are the worst for me with more time on my hands to snack. I feel for you..I hate to lose it at night after being good all day.

the hardest part about exercise is getting started. I had to force myself to stop at the gym on the way home from work..whether I wanted to or not. After about 6 weeks or so it becomes a habit and you will look forward to it. I found something that I really like..cycling outdoors..we live near a lake with a bridge over the water with a 2 mile separated bike lane. I usually can't wait to get out there. Find something that you really enjoy..I like outdoor activities like walking or cycling that have a nice view along the way. An ipod with a good playlist also helps. Good luck!!

100 calorie portions of string cheese..the light type..or a handful of almonds...a little protein helps me curb cravings.

new to this forum..but have been dieting and exercising for a while. I've lost about 62 lbs in the last year and went from 18-20 Jeans to size 10 jeans. I'm now to the point of wanting to lose another 10 pounds or so and maintain that weight. I've been either working out at the gym, cycling, or walking regularly since January of 2010. Right now struggling with fitting in my workouts with school having started and kid's activities starting for the year as well as the weather changing and being less able to ride outdoors by the lake that I have soooo....been enjoying since last May. Appetite tends to get the best of me in the evenings and want to snack, snack, snack..don't really gain but not losing either. Anyone want to be buddies??

I'll be your friend CC. Congratulations on your progress to date. I find a healthy protein shake in the evening helps my appetite plus gives me a milkshake-like fix.

we've all done that...just don't get upset and keep eating..forgive yourself and get back into the healthy eating again..go out and walk or exercise to get your mind off of it. I like to cycle or walk when I feel out of control..I burn some of the calories that I shouldn't have ate and feel more in control again.

I am also addicted to Diet Coke..I drink it all day long it seems..I know I should drink water instead but the diet coke seems to be my replacement for sweets, etc..
