@jackiedpepper Thanks so much for working it out. The reason I was saying 110 was because these kebabs I eat, which have the nutritional info on the pack, work out to 107 per 80g and they're quite fatty, but are also obviously skinless.

Might go for like 115 :P

How many calories would you guys say there are in 80g of skinless roasted chicken? I count it as 110, but there are so many different calorie counts around that I'm not sure what it should be. Thanks.

I've also been trying to eat around 1000 calories a day. Cept one day a week I have a treat/binge day and eat up to 2000, or what I did this week is had two days of 1500 each. I suck on the exercise front. I just cannot get myself to gym. Good luck with losing weight before your holiday.

This is such a good idea. If I cooked I'd totally get involved.

@alexressi maybe there could be an additional tab within the 'my diary' one. It could function similarly to the current food diary as in allow us to post entries on a daily basis, but just be in a note format. People who don't want to utilise the notes section can just ignore that tab and continue entering their food intake as usual. It wouldn't need to interfere with that- thereby keeping with the simplicity theme. Also I think its great how interactive and flexible you guys are.

This post would be more appropriate in a diary setting because I'm not really looking for feedback but seeing as though TWYE doesn't offer that I'm posting this here. (@Moderators I do think it would be a good idea to enable a "private" posting section in the diary section- there's a lot more to eating than just what you've consumed). Anyway I've been on TWYE for 3 weeks now and have been on diet for a little more than that (not a bad run for me) and so far I've been good about having one treat day a week. I've made that day Wednesdays. However I have now decided to make today my treat day. I'm really nervous this is going to throw everything off for me. I'm going to try not let it. I only decided this now, so while its not an impulsive, out of control binge- its still a relinquishing of will power. I just need to make sure that I go back onto diet strictly tomorrow. If no one minds, I think I may post to say whether I have.

Very cool about the weight. Well done ;)

Though if I were you I'd be careful of being overly restrictive, firstly cos its not really healthy to be not eating fruit and also I know with myself that when I'm overly strict it inevitably leads to a binge.

Also most people don't advice weighing everyday cos you don't get an accurate record because of water fluctuations and what not. Its motivating now cos you're losing weight but don't let it be demotivating if you hit a plateau for a little while.

Hope you feel better and you're not poisoned. I once ate raw chicken. That shit will turn you vegan for life.

Just try get back on track from tomorrow morning. Have a good breakfast and keep focused on eating healthily the whole day. Then feel good for not letting the binge carry on and think of your good day. Forget about your one little slip up. Just put it behind you and think of your long term goals and how they will affect and effect your ultimate happiness. Projection much? Hmmmm... Good luck and well done for being so good for the past month.

Treat days can be useful as long as they aren't excessive. I know I also tend to turn my treat days into treat weeks and so defeating the objective. They can help you to not feel deprived but just make sure you get back on track the next day, other wise its 'I'll start on Monday, okay next Monday."

@SLUTbreed But don't you then go into your diet already feeling deprived? I also like to do this because it gets me in the right mindset and also obviously detoxes your body, but I worry I'll use all my willpower up in those first few days if I'm too restrictive. Though it doesn't sound like you have much weight to lose if you only need to diet for a month. I need to diet for about 15 years.

Woah that's really good. Apparently people who write down what they eat are 80% more successful than those who don't.

@AliceLRose I have "read up" prior to "commentating". The Atkins diet is pretty unhealthy. The excess protein is very damaging to your kidneys. It also leads to really bad breath cos your body is trying to break down all the excess protein (ketogenesis). And the high levels of typically unsaturated animal fats that the Atkins diet encourages can lead to problems with cholesterol.

I've done it before when I was younger and just wanted to get skinny and wasn't concerned with the effect on my long-term health. But its not smart. And as I said before you will die :)

Atkins will kill you. It may be simple and get you skinny for a while, but you'll be dead. Eat low GI carbs and fruit and vegetables.
