TWYE shows you as being at this less then a month! That 10 pounds will take ten weeks to lose at a pound a week. In the mean time, scales will hove a pound or two either way due to things like differences in water weight, digestion speed, and randomness!

@NightShiftNurse As said above, I don't like crisps. As for chomping down loads of salad, sorry but I can't do that! Especially when I'm down. I need sauce and things to chew on, not salty and crunchy things!

@cadburyaddict11 Actually, I really don't like crisps or popcorn!

I can get Skinny Cow icecream at the supermarket in town, but I can't stock up on it. Partly because there is no space in the the shared freezer and partly because I am incapable of leaving icecream alone. If I have icecream available, it WILL be eaten, no matter how much I have!

The porridge idea is a good one though.

@tillpotsy Thanks for the tip...
However, ice cream, pizza, chocolate and such do have the advantage over that in immediacy. That is, one phone call or a trip to the shop next door is all that's needed to obtain these calorie fuelled antidepressants. Prawns and avocado require an hour round trip to town, and that assumes that the shops are still open!

I wolfed down 4000 calories on Monday...binging because I was upset about things. Could have been worse. I only had one litre of icecream! And not a great deal of other rubbish.

But I could do with something better for me next time such a binge is needed. Any ideas?

I think it's likely two things...
1 - Your body wants what it has not been able to get over the week. So each day in the week when you do well, have a little treat at the end, not enough to go over your limit, but enough to tell your body that it's getting the fatty sweet things it wants! I'm ending the day on a choccie bar and it really does help!

2 - Sunday? I'm guessing it's a less busy day. I know if I'm bored or restless, my fridge tries to entertain me! So keep busy doing other things.
