Hi there everyone. I am a previous user of TWYE and find it illuminating if nothing else. I have, as ever, overindulged at this time of the year but am generally trying to get to a good weight - somewhere around the 119lbs mark. I am current around 137lbs (Haven't checked post-Christmas) - so this should be quite realistic. I'm 22 years old and work in a relatively physical job although I could always do with being less lazy and doing more exercise. I'm looking at, for the first time, trying an actual "diet" and am leaning towards the Dukan Diet - Does anyone have any good/bad experiences/stories of this diet?

Just a quick note, I realise how important support is during this time and would like to thank people in advance for any advice/motivation. I am always more than willing to offer support where desired!

So I haven't been doing particularly well recently, and I've been will which has made my desire for bad foods even worse. But am intending to sort it out. Any suggestions for a bit of a kick start - something which might help me lose some pounds and remotivate me. I'm worried I've put on weight...

I always suffer from constipation. Espeically when changing diets. Fluid intake is important, lots of fruit and pure orange juice (with pulp and all), weetabix is great. And exercising is great too - running, jogging, squats, cardio.. And if all else fails, I do recommend taking maybe half the recommened amount of laxative just to jump start you a bit.

So I am the same as I was on Sunday... which is okay I suppose... Would like to lose a couple of pounds this week though. Don't want to lose my motivation. Am really trying today. But am going to pub tonight - Think I might stick to the pomegranate juices. Yummy. Finding it easier now though, to control the cravings. Don't feel so hungry and that's only after 10 days. Wish the will power would stay! Booking a holiday for the end of May though - now that's motivation!

gosh. Lent! great idea. I've got to decide between my two worst - alcohol or fizzy drinks. frankly, I don't want to give up either but I should! which should I do everyone? I don't think I'm strong enough to give up both!!!

Ah, it's only 10.30am and the "Sunday hunger" has already hit. Sunday is such a bad day. But on a good note, have now lost 4lbs in total so feel quite motivated. Now... just need to find a distraction for the rest of the day... haha.

So far, so good - 3lbs lost in 4 days (couldn't believe it!) - but now, tonight off to my boyfriends for a couple of days. He is a chef. A good one. Who loves big portions. I've told I'm doing this, and he's supportive, but his idea of a small portion is, well, not mine. Need the motivation. Very happy with how it's going so far though! Even had two beers last night and still lost a pound. But I do walk a good 4 miles a day for work. Suppose it evens out in the end. Hope everyone else is having a good, productive day and @jackiedpepper it is a nuisance, people are just going to have to check if they've posted multiple times and delete the extras!

Well much of the oil burns off so I wouldn't add a whole 100 calories, but maybe a percentage. But better to over-estimate in my view, helps with the weight loss :)

Lost 2lbs so far and I'm only just starting day three. Excellent. And I'm not even really denying myself anything, just exercising and keeping under 1500 calories. And away from alcohol. Eep. Everyone have a good day!

Hey there. I'm starting at a lower weight of 138 lbs (137 today) but have the same goal weight and time frame. I'm 5'5". Best of luck with it all. Hopefully we both get to make it!

Ryvita minis are fantastic for the old crisp cravings, about 100 calories a bag.

As someone who goes to Brighton a lot! I can recommend Wagamamas, Yo Sushi, Food for Friends (veg), Moshi Moshi, Terre A Terre and Iydea for good healthy eating out. Hope that helps for next time :)

@laceypeach Can I ask what your meals are like each day? lots of chicken, eggs etc.? Congratulations on the 7lbs. Fantastic.
