@nickersonbylaw my favourite breakfast is wholemeal toast with peanut butter and sliced banana on top - 1 or 2 slices depending on how hungry/greedy i am.
Porridge with honey is also yummy and filling. It's also quick to prepare if you use a microwave.
hope this helps x

Ok basically overall i have a pretty good diet.. i eat a lot of food but its all healthy stuff eg porridge and honey for breakfast, banana and apple as a snack, jaclet potato w/tuna, beans and salad for lunch, more fruit as a snack and then a healthy meal with LOADS of veg for dinner and maybe a small pudding, however i'm terrible at weekends and end up eating constantly on sundays and probably put on a few pounds just in one day. Now that it's winter i'm finding it harder to exercise and just want to cuddle up on the sofa with some hot chocolate. What's even more scary is that i'm starting a new modelling job in 2 weeks and really want to loose a few pounds. I'm currently 8st 4 but would like to be 8st. I know i need to cut down on food and up the exercise but im finding it really hard!! any advice and tips would really be appreciated xxxxxxxxx

@bethieute a stone is 14lbs.. so i'm about 117lbs
and you would be 10st.. which still gives you a healthy BMI, but if you would feel happier a bit lighter then go for it :) especially cos your cruise is coming up soon :D have fun! xxx

ok so i'm at my perfect weight.. but i'm actually finding it hard to keep this and not LOSE more weight.
I've started snacking on nuts (brazil, almonds..) because they're really healthy but also high in calories, but we're not allowed them at college because of people with allergies.. and college is where i spend most of my life.
Does anyone have any alternatives i could try??

Hey! i'm 5ft7 too and used to weigh about that, but i have quite a small frame so it was a bit of an unhealthy weight for me. I started going to the gym and eating really healthy, nourishing foods and i'm at my perfect weight of 8st5lbs now and i'm finding it really easy to maintain, plus i feel great all the time. I think 10lbs seems about right, be careful and make sure you don't get carried away though, or you might end up being too skinny :/
Hope you have an AMAZING holiday and i'm sure you'll look great :D xx

It could be that you're gainging muscle, although that's unlikely if you're mainly doing cardio. A lot of people find that this happens though, they gain a pound or two in the first week and then they start to lose weight. It happened to me when i first tried a diet and i ended up losing two stone. You just have to stick with it and you will see results, trust me. xxx
ps could also be water retention weighing you down

ok so im staying at my auntie's for the week to look after the kids, so that makes me in charge of cooking, snacks and the food cupboard :/ my auntie's one of those people who likes to make sure the larder (they have a huge house) is stuffed full of food (mainly treats and yummy things) and it's so hard to resist it all! it's rediculous... they have 3 huge fridges: one for savory things, one for sweet things and one for everyday items. As well as sweet, savory and 'lweftovers' fridge freezers. Not to mention the shelves stacked high with chocolates, cakes, biscuits etc. I'm literally a few pounds off my goal weight, plus im going to India in a week, so i can't let this ruin everything. Any advice?

wow this s exactly like me!! i was 8st 2lbs and was really confident about my body. Then my weight went up to nearly 10 stone after starting college, getting a boyfriend etc. I've been on a diet for a bit and now weight about 8 st 7lbs. I'm pretty happy but i think a few more pounds and i'll be 100% confident again. it is really hard to get into healthy habbits without abusing your body/bingeing/eating lots of sugary crap. But trust me, once you get into a good routine it becomes second nature. Plus now i feel really healthy all of the time and my skin has less spots and blemishes. I would also advise a steady exercise routine. No bursts of 'i must lose weight fast' sprints on the treadmill or strenous workouts. Just something simple that raises your heartrate each day, and something that is easy to stick to.
Most importantly love your body. Put food in your mouth for nourishment, and exesise for fitness.
Good luck xx

yeah this is true!! although it does vary from person to person, but it's roughly 3 weeks. I decided to give up chocolate and anything chocolate flavoured at the start of the year.. at first it was hard but after about 2 weeks i didnt crave it anymore and after 3 weeks i didnt even want to eat it!! now its been a month and a half and i havent had the taste of chocolate in my mouth.. not even once! i know people say you should always treat yourself to a little bit of what you fancy, but for me, this way works best. its just completely out of my diet and i know i can live without it. xx

i'd say about 1,500 a day, and then as you lose weight you'll have to eat less to keep on losing weight. so maybe go down to about 1,300. And try to do 30 mins exercise 5 times a week. Apparantly interval exercise is the best for burning fat. Good luck

does anyone know when the best time to exercise is? like when do you burn most fat. Morning or evening? after eating or on an empty stomach. before eating? or does it make no difference.

i have the same problem.. i have managed to cut out chocolate for 3 days now. Apparantly it takes 21 days to get into the habbit of something, so i'm hoping that if i can last 21 days i wont feel the urge to eat chocolate anymore. i don't care that it will be over christmas, it will just make me stronger for future events. I'll just make sure i have the non chocolatey puddings. I'm really determined. I'm not even going to let the taste pass my lips.. no chocolate flavoured anything. Last night was tough, my sister had a party and there were brownies, malteasers, minstrels and chocolate doughnuts!!! i managed though. Why not try to limit to one treat per day. i know its hard but you'll get into the habbit of it.x

@cadburyaddict11 don't worry i've had a terrible day too! i was good the whole morning but then at college we had christmas dinner and i just had a small bite of the chocolate cake and then ended up eating the whole piece.. and it was my friends birthday today so me and jessicajoyv through a surprise party for her: cake, pizza and everything, i had 4 pieces of pizza and loads of cake.. as well as picking at the chocolate while i made it. I'm so desparate to cut chocolate out alltogether. tomorrow will be a new start, and i need to go to the gym to work of the extra calories from today!! ooh i live quite near clapham.. well about 25 mins train.. shepperton.. you've heard of it?? im gonna buy some of that marshmallow stuff. bdw can you private email on this tweet what you eat thing?? im kinda new to it. x

@jessicajoyv naaah they're like 70% chocolate and raisins have a really high sugar content.. just think of all the sugars in a grape condensed down to a tiny pea sized thing, and then coated in chocolate.
