I'm exactly the same right now! I was doing so well but I can't seem to get back into it at all. We'll get there eventually, though!

You and me both! I love fresh fruit but the cost is too much! I have to go for cheaper, more filling options.

I was doing so well! Dropped 2lbs last week and was very proud of myself. Was prepared for my mate's bday party on Saturday, complete with buffet. I can handle some mini sausage rolls, I though. Until I notice that buffet is little bowls of haggis neeps and tatties, stovies, mac and cheese and chicken curry! With dumpling as dessert! Damn my very scottish mate! Fingers crossed for me not having done too much damage :(

Buffets will be the end of me, I swear!

Are you still losing weight at a steady pace? If you are, just keep doing what you're doing! As you said, keep the calorie drop until you really need it!

Oh god, I'm the worst for seeing something and then wanting it myself! I'm an advertisers dream, all they have to do is show me a photo of a Big Mac, and I'm craving it so badly!

Well, it's been a while but I'm still only a stone lighter! I constantly have a good week then a bad week, so I'm stuck in a rut! On Friday I started a new eating plan. I'm using Scottish Slimmers Booster Plan. Basically eating a lot of lean meat, dairy and vegetarian stuff. So far I'm finding it easy to stick to, but I won't find out how the results are until I get weighed on Thursday! So wish me luck.... Anyone else stuck in a rut and trying something new? :)

@lucyscales according to recent research though, that doesn't hold true. Eat small portions regularly to get rid of cravings, but as long as your daily intake is low, it's actually fine :) obviously don't eat right before bed, mind you!

That is quite a lot if you're trying to lose weight, since you're using up more than half your daily intake before 1pm! For weight loss, between 1200 and 1500, depending how active you are :)

It is thoroughly frustrating, especially if you know you're being good! Just stick with it, it will eventually pick up! Try and change your diet and drink more water to kick your body up the butt!

So are you giving anything up for lent? I'm having a 38-day lent before my friend's 40th birthday party. I'm giving up alcohol, because it usually leads to junk food binges! And I'm giving up fizzy juice, just to see if I can do it because I'm a soda addict! What are you giving up and why? :)

There's nothing wrong with having a bit of what you want, it's all about portion control :) have half a doughnut instead or two or three full ones. You'll satisfy your craving for the taste without undoing your good work!

The energy drinks won't be helping! Your blood sugar will be like a rollercoaster! Try and replace them with sugar free or diet energy drinks to begin with, then you'll get the taste but not the bad effects :)
