cut it up and share it with as many people as possible, friends.. collegues.. family etc. that way youre only having a tiny amount rather than a whole load, but youre still treating yourself by having some of it since its your bday cake - also it will be gone quicker rather than it sitting there where you can be tempted to pick from it :)

honey, at 13 youre still growing so you need to just make sure you eat a balanced healthy diet and exercise for at least 30 mins a day. if you restrict food then youll be depriving your body of the vitamins and minerals you need for other things youre probably bothered about such as nice hair and clear skin, which would cause you more stress in the long term if you didnt maintain. trust me, im 19 and ive been in that awkward stage but the likelihood is in the next year or two youll grow again and be taller and leaner and youll even out a bit as you lose the "puppy fat". youll probably learn to appreciate the boobs as well, skinny is nice but most people agree that they still want to have some curves as well, theyre sexy and feminine, you will definitely want them in a few years time! you just need to embrace it as part of growing up, you dont wanna look like a child your whole life and its not natural to. im sure youll learn to love the changes in time, as i said, youre probably due for a growth spurt sometime soon if youre feeling out of proportion... but in the meantime just maybe go running with some friends etc and eat a balanced diet and maybe just dont snack between meals. i doubt you need to do much more :) xx

looking at what im eating each day on the food diary is making me worry that im not eating enough calorie wise. im trying to be healthy and im eating mainly lean protein and salad and then lots of fruit and veg, but it still doesnt seem to add up to much more than around 800 cal a day. i dont feel hungry in particular cos im eating loadsss of salad but i feel like 800/900 cal is a bit low, id be happier with like 1200/1500 or something. does anyone have any more interesting suggestions other than just eating more and more fruit which is what i thought of doing haha :/ xx

heyy :) gahh that doess sound really frustrating!! i recently read that like if you eat roughly the same basic menu every day or rougly the same amount of calories each day, even if it isn't many, your weight loss can plateau so make sure you vary the amounts of calories and different healthy foods (maybe you already do this :), just a suggestion) orr maybe you could try making your meals smaller and spacing them evenly throughout the day and perhaps having the largest meal earliest on to keep your metabolism working like the most efficiently throughout the day. sorry if you've already tried these! hope this helps :D

awww :L, you probably haven't actually gained any weight, scales are evil and sometimes the numbers don't budge even if you've been really good the last couple of days. If you've been weighing yourself at different times in the day or even wearing different clothes or placing the scales on a difference surface - this can have an effect, and 2 lbs isn't alot, it's probably water weight. Maybe you could weigh yourself less often and you could maybe judge by measuring or how you look in the mirror and then just weigh yourself say, once a week? You will see a bigger change then and it will be more accurate, you don't wanna be beating yourself up every time you eat and then step on a scale, remember.. the less you stress over the situation, the more likely you are to lose weight and keep it up for longer without feeling bad and it all turning into a guilt-binge. You'll be fine lovely, trust me.

Hey :) you could try just keeping some fruit or healthy things in your bag at all times so that say if you're out with friends and they get something tempting like chocolate you know you already have something, also making sure you don't have enough change for unhealthy snacks is a good one because if you're like me you won't want to break into a note. Also you could carry around a bottle of water and have a sip whenever you feel like you're about to give in to any cravings, most of the time it's just thirst anyway and your brain registers it wrong. Just think about how good you'll feel on saturday in your bikini when everything's paid off :D Hope this helps. Good luck xx
