@lanesgirl hahaha I have no idea! Try going on to your settings and setting up a twitter and connecting it. Or I think you can connect with facebook now? That will hopefully get rid of the random thats connected. However that happened!

@lanesgirl Added as friend! I am exactly the same! 20 in a month, put on 2 stone almost since summer and so scared about going home for christmas and birthday and being the elephant in the room! I cant face the embarrassment of people sayng "oh you've put on weight" I have been eating 1000 cals a day since Monday and been going to gym for 30mins to an hour but not today because I was at uni all day and then this snow.... Yeah so I've lost 4 pounds. Down to 151.8. Want to be 145 by Christmas. I think thats acheivable!x

Down 4 pounds in 4 days :) Was 155.6 on Monday morning, 151.8 this morning. That's a good start. Had extremely stressful day at uni. So much coursework and exams! Just had a few extra squares of dark chocolate to cheer me up and avoided the cake/pizza/crisps all the other students were eating. Didn't make the gym, but if you've seen the UK weather right now you won't blame me for not wanting to make that journey....!

@charlottesmale For some reason ideally I want to just eat 3 meals and thats it because when I snack lots it upsets me. Like today I felt a bit weak because I walked to uni through this stupid deep snow after I'd been to the gym so I had some dried fruit and nuts then a dried fruit and nut bar on the way back. I still ate the same amount of cals as yesterday but it made me feel like I was getting out of control (and I know where that leads me - a 20 pound weight gain! crap!) But yeah everyone says eat every few hours to keep your metabolism up. I'm following you on Twitter btw! Hope you dont mind!xx

@charlottesmale I'm at Glasgow Caledonian Uni. What about you? Yeah I just hope I can stick to it. I do work better with a deadline (thats why I leave essays so late haha!) so hopefully with Christmas in sight I wont give up so easily! I would eat less but I know I wouldn't be able to study for my exams if I did!xx

@charlottesmale wish I was 8 1/2! That would be my ultimate goal. How tall are you? I'm 5'7". My lowest weight was 9 1/2 stone this summer and I suppose I was happy with that but a lot of stress and being a student means I'm back up to 11 stone :O NOT happy about this funnily enough but I know its all my own fault. Have been eating 1000 cals and hitting the gym and walking to uni for the past week. I know I'll still be massive by the time I go home at Christmas and everyone will notice that I'm fatter (which is gutting after all the compliments I got in the summer!) But I dont want to be too scared to go out to parties like I am just now!xx

So I'm trying to get back into this. (Lost 20 pounds then found them again :| )
I'm from the UK,19 (going on 20 pretty soon) and want to lose as much weight as I can before Christmas so I don't feel like the stuffed turkey! (and then carry on losing) I know that wont be very much right now but really anything would be good.
I was wondering if anyone was a similar age to me with the same sort of goals to be a Tweater friend and keep each other on track? Its hard finding people to talk to who understand. Also please follow me on Twitter if you can :) Thank you :)

@MorganLeigh me too, if I go over 1000 I lose it and binge! Have had an up and down success with my weight. Lost over a stone in the spring with TWYE but gained it back over the Autumn. NOT GOOD. I was eating 800 cals a day and doing about 15 mins exercise DVD everyday and yeah that worked... but I couldnt keep it up hence why I'm back to where I started :( determined to loose a bit before Christmas. Can't face seeing everyone again when I go home if I look this fat!

Lost a stone using TWYE from Jan - March this year... Then went home from uni for the Summer,got a job in a supermarket (selling and handelling delicious food for 40 hours a week - sooo hard to resist, especially the amazing bakery cookies and muffins and chocolate and pizzas when they are on offer!) plus I was settled with my boyfriend every night. We got into a routine of work, get pizza and cookies and watch a movie most nights. It was lovely at the time but I went from 135 pounds to 154. Heavier than ever! And all in a few months. Gutting after all my work I put in. Anyway I'm trying again but it shard to recapture that genuine (and slightly naive) motivation I had in Jauary! Wishing you all luck on your journeys too. xxx

@strawberrryblonde<br>It is so hard sometimes to eat with a boyfriend/husband. They can almost always eat more than we do w/o gaining weight, and it's hard to remember not to eat along with them, bite for bite.

23.5 inch waist?? thats tiny! Victoria Beckham, a size 0 or possibly 00, has a 23 inch waist.. the same size as a 7 year old kid! You must be super super skinny. How much more are you trying to lose?

Don't know if its possible to lose that much but its seriously worth a go, the exercise will tone you up anyway so you will look better even if you dont reach your target weight. Try swapping carb snacks like cereal bars (if you do eat that kind of thing) for protein like chicken pieces or yogurt. Even just for the last week before you go cut out carbs so dont have bread, rice, pasta, cereal, potatoes, sugar etc and it will really change the shape of your stomach even in just a few days and you could lose the last stubborn pounds. It will give you that weight loss kick, but its not a very easy diet to sustain for a long time. Good luck!x

I do excatly the same thing. Can't concentrate on studying till I've binged because it numbs every other stress I'm feeling, but then the guilt is awful!
I wouldn't bother with the special K thing, it might work but a more effective way is to cut down on carbs to get your body out of fat storing mode. If you eat protein like chicken, eggs, yogurt, lean bacon etc then even by tomorrow you will be less bloated and your stomach will feel and look flatter. By next week you could lose like 5 pounds. I managed to lose 5 pounds in a week by following a low carb, high protein diet (no exercise either - if you gym it you might need to eat more than I did for energy). Breakfast = 3 tbsp of all bran with skimmed milk, omlette with 1 egg water and skimmed milk. Lunch = chicken salad (chicken breast and lettuce basically) Dinner = Tuna steak, green beans. Snack = yogurt, small apple, 2 brazil nuts, chicken pieces. You get the idea. I put all the weight back on again by eating 4000+ calories worth or chocolate and cakes every day because I was so upset and stressed! Entirely my stupid fault and I'm going back on this diet now and hope to be 5 pounds lighter by next Thursday. It is a great quick fix anyway and you could then start adding carbs gradually once you reach your goal weight. Good luck!

So I lost like 5 pounds again but had a stressful two week binge and put it all abck on again, probably more but I dont want to weigh myself. Uni work gets the better of me every time! I'm almost finished though and back home for the summer next week. My boyfriend is getting his mums old exercise bike for me and I can join the gym and go swimming cause its pretty cheap back home (and small so its less intimidating) I'm looking forward to that. But I want to loose a few pounds in the next week so when I see all my friends again I feel more confident and in control instead of a nervous wreck because my self esteem is so low through binging and feeling fat. I will try and exercise for a bit every day, only got a DVD to do as I HATE running! Will limit carbs to bran flakes in the morning and fruit and veg and then just have chicken and my main meal for lunch because I notice I go out and buy crap and binge in the afternoon because I feel weak through not eating enough in the morning cause I'm saving calories for a satisfying dinner. Makes more sense to have dinner at lunch then! Hopefully I can lose a few pounds and generally feel better by next thursday!x
