If you are prepared to spend some money you could get an elliptical trainer or rowing machine. I have just bought a rowing machine and I am doing a 20 minute session on it in the morning and the same in the evening. It was the only way I could fit exercise in to my weekdays, and it has been great so far. Knackering, but great.

The clubland work it out video is quite good, music keeps you interested, i work shifts as well n im always too tired on my day off to go to the gym, but dance classes or hips bums n tums can be quite good

Buy a small rebounder (trampoline), I use it for 20 min each day while watching tv and it's working - NASA uses it to get their astronauts ready, it's the best execersice and great for your lymphatic system - drainage

Check out a Kettlebell. These are evil Russian training devices that are great because you get results fast. Also, you can only really work with it for about 12 minutes before it has totally kicked your butt.
